Lions Youth Camps

Vision Impaired Camp

2025 Information coming soon

Camp has ALWAYS been free for the camper!

History

Lions Youth Camp for children who are blind or visually impaired began in 1982. For over 40 years we have devoted ourselves to helping children who are visually impaired have amazing experiences.

We provide a week of traditional fun and camp activities. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for eligible youth to share a week of fun with their peers. We hope to promote self-confidence, teamwork, and self-reliance. We aim to challenge the campers through activities to encourage personal growth.

In short, fun with a purpose!

Camper Eligibility

Children ages 6 through 15 who are either blind or visually impaired.

Activities

Archery, Air Rifles, Canoes, Hiking, Arts & Crafts, Fishing, Swimming, Field Games, and much more!

2023 Theme

Each year we have a different theme for camp. This helps make every year new and exciting. The 2023 theme is “Holiday!” Campers will wake up to a new celebration each day. There will be scary adventures, egg-citing hunts, a ho-ho-ho lot of surprises, and so much more.

Campers became ceramist for the day when they molded and painted their own clay pieces.
